My Story

Welcome to CDS Laser & Design — your hometown source for precision custom laser engraving, proudly rooted in Walkerton, Indiana. I am the owner, Taisha Hornig and here is a little snippet of my shops journey.

In 2017, I began designing custom epoxy tumblers as a creative outlet after long days working a traditional 9–5 job. Then it just exploded from there. Over time, that passion for creating personalized pieces continued to grow, and in 2020, the arrival of my first laser transformed that hobby into a part-time laser engraving business.

In 2023, after welcoming my newborn and realizing how much I wanted a career built around creativity, flexibility, and craftsmanship, I took the leap and turned CDS Laser & Design into a full-time business. What started as a small creative escape has now grown into a full-service engraving studio serving businesses, ranchers, gift shoppers, and event organizers across Northern Indiana and beyond.

Today, CDS Laser & Design specializes in personalized gifts, premium corporate swag, custom awards, branded merchandise, and live on-site engraving experiences for events and brand activations.
